Why is gay pride any more idiotic than national pride?

its annoying when a group labels themselves a certain way and then bitches about it when others label them. "dont call me gay, im a person and shouldnt be called anything else. btw, you going to the GAY pride parade we setup for friday?" thats like marching in a KKK demonstration and then getting pissed off when someone calls you a racist. everyones "different" when they want attention but once they get it they just want to be treated like everyone else.

I've never met a gay person who had a problem with being called gay.
