Spent the day at the Toronto Zoo (pics!)
 

Spent the entire day walking around the zoo with my gf and some friends.

I've been teaching my gf how to take some pics herself and I must say that she got some GREAT shots.
Shots 35 to 55 are all hers. There's some shots in there that are way better than I would have gotten.. she's definitely learning fast!

We had a zoo once :(..until the tree huggers helped shut it down..Nice pics man

The monkey thing... I have no idea. He was very cute though.

Pic #2 is a mongolian horse. Can't remember the name as it was named after some Polish discoverer who had an odd last name. But this horse is the only wild horse left in the world. They're fairly small and all look exactly the same.

Pic #3 is a fox... a rather large one. The rest were much smaller, the size I am used to seeing foxes but the one in that picture was huge! He walked up to the top of the hill for shade and that's where I got his picture, so it didn't turn out as great as I'd like since he was seeking shelter quite far from us.

Yes, I made her... silly. She has never been to the zoo, got it in her head that she really wanted to go and now is the time, since it'll get tougher to do closer and closer to the due date and once the baby's here... forget about it for at least a while.

Anyway, we rented a wheelchair for a whopping $5 and I pushed her around any time she didn't want to be on her feet anymore.

And yes, she is sleeping now... as I will be in a few short minutes :glugglug

Walking around a zoo in the sun will wear out anyone. :)

Przewalski's Horse. It was extirpated from the wild by 1968 and is only in zoos now, so there are no longer any wild horses.

went to the zoo last summer and forgot my freaking cam...

all I had was my cell phone's cam and let me tell you the results for any shots further than 3-4fts were blurry as fuck LOL...

yeah theyre here a lot, they started a program some years ago in Holland to get these back in wildlife, weird cause they never been here, now when I go to Belgium I drive by them, theyre like 20 or so now, beautiful horses...

Beautiful animals, you've got some nice shots there. I can't remember the last time I went to the zoo.

I love the Zoo, but at the same time it makes me sad.
