I found my lost Zappa CD

Back in January I couldn't find one of my favorite Zappa CDs, but I just got back to Michigan from Hawaii this morning and I found it in my closet. You can all sleep easy tonight knowing that.

Love it when I find something... usually happens once I stop looking for it. I especially love finding money in one of my pockets, like I never had it before. What a great feeling.

Yeah, I wanted to listen to it when I was here over Christmas but couldn't find it. It does feel good.

hot rats is one of my favorite albums in the world - although absolutely free is up there. i remember, i was like 14, and i read the credits on hot rats where it said captain beefheart was the vocal on willie the pimp. i went out and bought captain beefheart's trout mask replica - another amazing event.

Captain Beefheart is awesome. My favorite Zappa/Beefheart album is "Bongo Fury," although any 70s era Zappa live album is amazing. :thumbsup

zappa allways has good mainstream musicians with him on anything he did, but his music is pretty off balance, not to mention way out there.

dwezil on the other hand, i like better. he allways wore that cool 'fantabulous' t-shirt on mtv back in the day.

...fantabulous...

I feel Zappa was best from 1968-1976

Roxy and Elswhere
One Size Fits All
Overnight Sensation
Bongo Fury
Just another Band from LA
Fillmore East
Apostrophe
Shut Up and Play Your Guitar

This list should fulfill all your Zappa Cravings...

All those are great, espescially the Fillmore album, one of my favorites. Zappa in New York is also an album I never get tired of hearing. I am also a big fan of the Beat the Boots series, and The Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life album. So many great Zappa albums.
