I went into a Nissan dealership a few years ago. They were overly cocky and had a major attitude. I'll never buy a Nissan :)

They have beed sueing over that domain name for sometime.

I have my own reasons too for never buying a vehicle from their lot.

Here's the story:

Girl I fucked a few years back decided she wanted to buy a car. Her mother wanted her to spend a lot so she couldn't afford to move out. The salesman was made aware of that by the mother. They sold her a USED 1993 Firefly (of course it's not a Nissan but was being sold there). They charged her... $10,000!! This was in 1998. SO a 5 year old Firefly sold for 10k which had a blue book value of 5k... Ok, highway robery, that's not only what's so bad. 3 months later, driving away from the house, the transmission FELL completely out of the vehicle.

They refused to repair it and she is now stuck paying on a car thart's sitting in the scrap yard because after she paid to fix that, something else fell off then the motor blew.



They took advantage of a young girl and they refused to repair something that she paid double the value for that broke badly.

yeah, nissan are nice people.

When I was mainstream we tried to do a deal with the guy who owns a very nice man. Whose name is nissan, he couldnt do anything because they are still in the middle of the fight.

if i had a 5k car that someone wanted to buy for 10k i would sell it in a heartbeat.

That fight has been going on a long time. I hope the guy wins in the end. He had his business before Nissan Motors was called Nissan (they were still Datsun at the time). I also hope Nissan Motors gets stuck with his attorney's bill.

Best Z is the 240. Everything that came after that was just overweight cruising cars.

That's bullshit. Glad the courts didn't take the domain away from him. Would have been pretty stupid.. He should sue Nissan for harassment now; for $10,000,000 of damages.

I think nissan.com is the most valuable trademarked domain on the net. I think x.com (owned by PayPal) is better than z.com :)

If he accepted the offer that could be considered cybersquating. If they were smart they would send him a certified check for $10mil with a contract stating that they will not sue him after he transfers the name over.

The dealership is going to honor the warranty that is sold with the car and only that. If she didn't have a warranty or there wasn't one available then they're not at fault. As for them screwing her on the purchase, the girl has to share the blame. She didn't have to buy a 10 thousand dollar car. Cars sell themselves, dealerships just negotiate prices. Next time around maybe she'll be more cautious on what she can or can't afford.
