But whats the point? Studies have constantly proved that there is no money in SEO.

God it would be nice to hire a person/group that could produce the results you're quoting here for third parties like myself who have no SE experience and don't care to learn. But if they know how to achieve those results they don't fucking need outside business so it's a great Catch-22, lol.

LOL looks like my one, and only, attempt at SEO...

Was #2 on G for "adult vod" for about 2 weeks!
#3 on Yahoo for "phone sex" a few years back for a tad longer
Had a few up-and-downs with a bunch of good cam-related keywords "teen cams" etc.

Mainstream, I had a few really strong #1's against big players.

I did get to number one on yahoo for a three words out of 47,000,000 results, domain got banned too by google :1orglaugh

For what its worth, I did nothing special whatsoever, 1 blog, daily updated atleast twice a day, average update is 300-400 words. About 10-12 hardlink trades and google and yahoo come daily and eat away at the new text :thumbsup

Exactly, which is why no one, not even the expensive-for-hire guys will really tell you all secrets. You'd need to be an apprentice of theirs, and even still read up on your own, and be intelligent and analytical on your own. So at Jay's $300/hour.. so 8 hours a day apprenticeship, 5 days a week.. would cost you $624,000 to learn near / most of what Jay knows - if you give Jay $600k though, I think he'd teach you everything, teaching still isn't the only thing... but also, after a year, you'll probably be out of the picture to some degree. :)

What's really funny is that lots of em have paid positions on Google.. or are wayyy down the pages...

One site is listed as, "Guaranteed First Place in Google"
They're on page 55... Gotta love it.. :)
