make sure you have a secure version, oscomm are really buggy.

I can. It's all about the stylesheet. :thumbsup

I know it's against forum rules to post a link to another forum but I will tell you this....

Go to OSCommerce's site and click on forums. :winkwink:

Anything and everything you ever wanted to know about OSC. They also have Templates there for you to use absolutely free. Good luck. :thumbsup

hehe, thing is - I dont want to anything about it. :upsidedow I want hire someone else to do it. I just dont have the time for it unfortunately. I'm also only interested in a custom design, no templates for me.

But I added you to ICQ. Hopefully we can chat. :thumbsup

i can, hit me up at jace @ pornsaves . com for examples

retardednewbie 05-27-2005 11:43 AM

hey.. a cheap safer alternative would be xcart and pay someone to do custom templates for you.. xcart uses the smarty templating engine so it's super powerful in a design sense and if you purchase their ecommerce product you have access to their forum community which is great :)..

check it out..

i haven't really followed the development of oscommerce recently but they have been stuck on release 2.2 for a year now :( and it isn't template driven, so it's painful to customised compared to other solutions out there.

WebTitan 05-27-2005 11:47 AM

running out for a bit, but we have done quite a few, will hit up with some samples via ICQ

JaceXXX, replied to your email

retardednewbie - ya, to be honest, I dont really care what cart is used. I just know most designers are more comfortable with oscommerce and I prfer to stay close to that. But if some designer says they can make a killer site with shopping cart XYZ and can sell me on it, I'm all for it.

WebTitan - I left you a message on ICQ, feel free to get back to me when you're back.

The most important part of my post was that I am looking for a CUSTOM design. What I meant by that is am looking for a design that looks nothing like others. I dont like how the osCommerce template looks. So it's not just a matter of changing the css colors and throwing up a header.

Thanks!
