Trade Marks anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has tried or has trademarked any of their online ventures?
IM looking into it now - looks a heavy process of searching and application with consultancy needed
anyone?

Ask Juicy.
And, good luck.

woudl you say good luck on account of it being adult? (it is very adult)

I've done it and it is costly and time consuming but well worth it if you have a product to protect. Once you file the papers and are awaiting approval which takes a long time, you are already protected.
I had to defend mine twice and once during the approval process and once after. The after was real easy, all we had to do was say, "here it is"!

The fact that it is adult has nothing to do with the process, at least with the lawyer I used. Mine is mainstream, and in fact I have the domain and the trademark up for sale now. We can't seem to keep the car from crashing into the walls :helpme

For sale:
MrAmerica.com
Federal trademark granted for stock car racing and management
Ideal for a Nascar team :pimp

Fililng with the USPTO shouldn't cost $5,000 for a trademark in one area.

legal fees and consultancy/searching mainly

to be fair the forms dont look that bad if no image are concerned
