krl please email me stats if possible. I like the name, has lots of potential.

Have you had a SEDO project appraisal done? What kind of monthly income does it generate now and do you have documentation? A domain is nothing more than $8, creativity, and luck - it's what you make of it that makes it valuable. This domain's alexa rating is horrible, and I don't see anything special that's worth paying money for other than the subscribers.
If you're selling it based on *potential*, why not just register alldirtyjokes.com or bestdirtyjokes.com (which are avail) for 8 dollars, invest 20k, and put the other 80k in your pocket? Point is, people who buy domains based solely on potential get burned. It's what you make of a domain that determines it's success... ex: google Good luck justifying 100k, and god bless the poor soul that pays that much. |

Do you really think anyone would offer their daughter or pay 10k for that domain? Are you really that stupid? If you're under 18 you shouldn't be on this board buddy. Think about what you're typing.

Cyberninja, that comment above was a joke in reference to no bids on a cheap domain I was selling. No one is going to offer their daughter or pay 10k for the domain "usenetfiles.com". You believing it to be a serious business inquiry is what is comical. For the most part this board/thread is *intended* to be business related. If you have deeper issues you can discuss this with me via ICQ 162022652. Please save this forum's visitors from unnecessary drama. Thanks. -Adam

This is a very good domain, and I hope KRL does well with it. It doesn't really fit with my super bare domainpark model, but it is a great site to buy if someone wants a turnkey site that will never go out of style.
Good luck KRL :thumbsup |

LOL Hey, if you want to pay $100,000 for a domain name, go for it. I'm very educated in the market of top level domains, a frequent customer of SEDO purchasing domain appraisals. I know *exactly* what domains are worth. Yes, a domain such as dirtyjokes.com can bring in a high dollar amount, but is it a good investment at that price? No. A slight variation domain for $8 can generate 10x what that primary domain is generating right now, especially with the ridiculous amount of money you'd be saving. With that said, go ahead, write that check out for $100,000... You'll be the one living in a trailer after that move. :winkwink:

RadiantX, you are one negative mofo. Damn, man take your nego energy to some other thread will you.
And for your info Rick had originally paid $68K for that domain before we got it. And he's the sharpest domainer in the biz. |
