Stop bugging over the new 2257
 

So what is the big deal about the new 2257 stuff?
Why is it any different then being audited by the IRS and them coming to your business to do the audit.

So the goverment comes to your house/business to check your records, so what - big deal. If you are on the up and up you ahould be fine.

So what am I missing with this?

The main problem is that up until now we have been able to buy content with the provider keeping the docs. Now WE have to have copies of the docs ourselves... and some of us are having difficulty getting producers to come up with the paperwork from shoots 2 or more years ago... Since they have already been paid, they are not motivated to do the work.


(This only applies to SOME producers... I've had several prodcuers respond the same day with copies of the ID's I needed. )

you are right but all the content providers should be able to provie you with docs.Even the docs from 5 years ago.Ok some docs might be losted - this also happened to us - so we simly had to remove the stuff and we don't sell it anymore - we wasted lot of money on this but what...
The last week we resend the docs only - thats all we do - filling the requests of former customers and I think its working fine.
