Is Ron Jeremy in your bedroom?

Place of Business;

If it's your house be careful.

I just ran a quick Google key-word search based on 2257, adult, and my state, no-one here needs to be told what I found.

Since you have declared the address posted in your 2257 page as your place of BUSINESS be ready for problems if some local do-gooder or media news team wants to grab some publicity at your expense. This is where PORN is being produced! A porn business in our subdivision! Pissed neighbors, zoning violations, etc ... etc ...

Along with coverage of sex-offenders living in your neighborhood this is a great story. "Porn Producer" makes it sound like you have Ron Jeremy working out of your bedroom.

Yes, this info was available in years past but with attention focused on the first wave of enforcement local coverage will be everywhere.

God help you if you are near a school.

Nothing smells foul or rancid in there, so I'm gonna guess "no".

L-pink, I mentioned this in another thread. First they are going to get you to declare your real home address as your business address, then they will come see your records, then they will send the local authorities to visit you for a business license and to enforce zoning laws. MANY MANY MANY US cities have zoning laws the prohibit adult businesses within a certain distance of schools, churches, hospitals, places of worship, playgrounds, daycares, and other adult businesses. You may in the end find yourself being ZONED out of your house - or being forced to close your business after paying a fine or other for breaking zoning laws.

Don't laugh. Zoning laws have been used in all sorts of ways against all sorts of adult businesses.

Also ...

Alex ..... Don't forget asset forfeiture ..... Anyone would give-up the house in exchange for no 5 yr. felony conviction over incomplete or questionable understanding of record-keeping.
