The soldiers that jump the guy are AFGAN soldiers. They beat on him until a US soldier jumps in and starts to handcuff him.

He even pushes off an Afgan that tries to keep on poking at the prisoner with his rifle

In the next shot, there are now two US soldiers still trying to get him cuffed properly and they struggle with him until they do.

You sir are a moron then. All of the soldiers wearing the green uniforms are afgan soldiers. They are the ones doing the majority of the beating. The tan uniforms are US soldiers. I see them at best throwing a couple punches while handcuffing him and calling him motherfucker because he resists the straps. US troops don't wear green fatigues like that over there unless they are special forces or the like in intelligence.

The only American soldiers there are the ones in the chocolate chips. The ones in green BDUs are indeed Afghanee. Note the weapons they carry, stingers that we gave them to fight the russians and AKs they took from the russians. We don't use either anymore.

I still think that the way the American soldiers did things was a tad on the harsh side, but they were way more gentile with him then the afghanee soldiers.

Just to save time for the idiots, in the whole scene you see two American soldiers (the ones cuffing the prisoner and stopping him from taking a beating from the Afghans(?)), the rest are Afghans(?).

At least one of the American soldiers punches the prisoner to subdue him so that he can be taken away.

It was a well executed arrest of a terrorist suspect.

Although, there may be idiots here who think the best way to arrest a suspected terrorist is to approach him with a white flag, bend over and present their anuses, then polightly ask the gentleman if he would care to surrender.
