Tips i learned from surfers online

this is quite possible the dumbest thing i have written but here are the facts that I have gathered over the past months. I cannot source my information, but i will not bullshit anyone here.

US Traffic:
Not everyone is on daily ( i had the webmaster mentality imposed onto surfers)
Traffic is lower after friday afternoon and it stays low until monday morning.
My google and yahoo radar depics that less searches are made on the weekend (my observations.)

As for summer slowdown, i have yet seen it, but since weather and holidays plays a big factor in online usage, you can be sure that surfers surf less during those days. ( less surfing does not equal less sales IMO)

My opinion only folks, results may vary, enjoy :thumbsup

At least you're learning, unlike these fools on GFY who start a TGP, get 5k/day traffic and all of a sudden they start acting as if they're TGP experts.

Spot on.

Traffic varies from site to site. Depending on your portfolio. TGP/Membership/AVS, etc, etc...

All have traffic, and sign up paterns. Some are consistant yearly, some are odd. It's the ultimate dice roll.
:thumbsup

by monitoring computers, i have more findings
25% of surfers comes back within a period of 1 week
50% of surfers comes on within two weeks
10% of surfers comes on daily
but i have to say that my sample size is only 50 000 users. check back in a month, it should be around 100 000 by then

Monitoring stats and referrers can reveal a goldmine.
It's good to do it on a regular basis.

Same here. Great way to find out sites where the surfers themselves recommend your site :) :thumbsup

Only after you study your traffic and know your traffic can you "own" your traffic.

Grasshopper you can not own the traffic. first you must release the traffic. If it returns, it is yours.

:winkwink:

World events also effect the amount of traffic. Mainly from the US.
