WEBAIR Mike, I am calling you out.....DRAMA!!

OK...now that I have everyones attention....if you want to hear the *real* truth behind the nationalnet.com domain name read the AVN article....

Read the AVN article HERE!

Pay close attention to the last couple of paragraphs and you will see one of the best episodes of Karma in action that I have ever seen!!

Mike....I have a ton of respect for you and what you have accomplished in this industry and I look forward to buying you a drink in San Diego. :)

PS...It is ashame that you have to use a thread title like that to get anyone to look at the thread.

Word Up I am one sexy beast

Juicy D. Links 05-25-2005 06:18 PM

?I don?t like jumping to conclusions on stuff like that. I heard Juicy was a sexy good looking male but did not realize how sexy he was ill i saw him in person,? Morgan tells AVNOnline.com.

Odie 05-25-2005 06:20 PM

YAY!!!! congrats to both Mike and Sweet T..both of whom I am proud to call my friends. I wish I could be there to share a drink with the both of you!!

I love Karma!! :) :thumbsup

xlogger 05-25-2005 06:24 PM

O SNAP SON!

no drama. :disgust

NoCarrier 05-25-2005 06:25 PM

Fake drama does not sell. People don't want to hear about love and friendship. Sorry.

WiredGuy 05-25-2005 06:28 PM

I'm glad the dispute was resolved well. Very nice gesture and seems to be an ammicable resolution to both sides.

pr0 05-25-2005 06:29 PM

ntroduction.com was looking for a networking-based domain, such as National Net, National Network and National Networking for their individual dating sites, Christopher tells AVNOnline.com.

hahahahahaha

For those of you that dont already know, I am heavily involved with Bert's Big Adventure so when Mike asked about us making a joint donation to charity I asked if we could make it to BBA. I told him about the charity and how it was founded by Bert Weiss who has the #1 radio show in Atlanta and is a dear friend of mine. He agreed and mentioned that he happened to grow up with a guy by the same name so I asked and sure enough...it was the same guy!!!

I dont know about you, but I am a *huge* believer in Karma...and this is it in its purest form.

I am very happy for you Mike...and I hope that you will come to Atlanta to see Bert and let he and I show you how we do it in the Dirty Dirty :)

I got chills from this one. Class all the way.

baddog 05-25-2005 07:25 PM

All's well that ends well

reynold 05-25-2005 07:35 PM

Now, this is the ending that I want...

Nicky 05-25-2005 07:36 PM

urgh, I thought there was gonna be drama :upsidedow

Spunky 05-25-2005 07:37 PM

I needed a drama fix :disgust

chromium 05-25-2005 08:06 PM

It is amazing how a drama queen like European Lee doesn't get a discount for writing about his problems with Webair. I remain surprised that he has not been banned a second time here at GFY.

Of course many of us were confused reading the news of the domain purchase... but NATNET, not national net, is the brand name and we now read via AVN how the industry takes care of each other and a needed charity without the drama-queen antics.

Some have no life and live to post. Others have business to conduct during this changing times in the USA. Congrats to Big Bert's Adventure.

I hope more begin to work together in the near future like seen here.

Snake Doctor 05-25-2005 08:12 PM

In order to get attention these days on GFY you need to have "200 sales a day" or "2257" in the thread title.

OY 05-25-2005 08:17 PM

Good stuff!

I truly believe in karma myself as well. I have seen a lot of it lately among both friends and "not so good" friends :thumbsup

:winkwink:

clickclickclick 05-25-2005 09:05 PM

karma exists, it was established in 1952 by the rand corporation

Zuzana Designs 05-25-2005 09:36 PM

A sweet ending :)

webair 05-26-2005 11:43 AM

Not only have I found a childhood friend from this experience, but found a good friend in Tony as well.

I use to use the word Karma loosely, now i'm a firm believer in it...Do good things and good things will come back to you in return.

One think I would like to suggest here as well...

If you guys have a few extra bucks lying around you would be hard pressed to find a better charity to donate it to other than http://www.bertsbigadventure.org/

Thanks guys

punker barbie 05-26-2005 11:46 AM

MrIzzz 05-26-2005 11:48 AM

wow that brought a tear to my eye ;)))

Great ending

Donny 05-26-2005 12:06 PM

Likely story:

The saga began when Christopher purchased the domain earlier this month ? at a price of $5,000 ? for Introduction.com, a soon-to-launch FriendFinder-like dating site client. Introduction.com was looking for a networking-based domain, such as National Net, National Network and National Networking for their individual dating sites, Christopher tells AVNOnline.com.

Oh, that's a PERFECT domain for a fucking dating site! I think of Nationalnet.com when I want a date!

Bwwwwaaaahhhhaaaaahaaaaaa!!!!!!

TheGoldenChild 05-26-2005 12:24 PM

Very touching story-
I am moved.

Tony is a gentleman and a scholar-
I wish more webmasters in this business could be as unselfish and down to earth like Tony.

I truly mean that.
I have known Tony a lot of years and this act doesn't surprise me in the least...

I knew he'd get the domain :-))

hahahahahaha

ChandieGirl 05-26-2005 12:37 PM

Very classy move on all sides! :thumbsup
Tony, you know I love ya! Seeing you involved in something
like this doesn't surprise me one bit.

After reading the initial drama on GFY, I didn't know what
to think of Mike. I'm so glad that I reserved judgement. Seems that
he is someone I would be proud to know. :)

Congrats to all and to especially a huge SMILE for Berts Big Adventures! I'm sure they are thrilled to have the help.

We should all get in the charitable mood and donate!
