Content providers: Have any HD scenes for sale? (1080i or 720p NATIVE)
Would be curious to see if there are any sources for it out there for true 1080i hardcore scenes. Not looking for upconverted DVD 480p nonense either, save your breath. True 1080i/720p only.
Might be worthwhile to spice up a memeber's area, help with retention, etc, if bandwidth isn't an issue. |
Not yet but if someone wants to hire us to shoot it, we will buy the camera. We are deciding which one to get right now.
:thumbsup |
I can shoot you some exclusives in 1080i if you're interested. I don't have any HD samples online, but here's a sample of our last hardcore scene to give you an idea of our style http://www.jactcontent.com/content/10020/

I have some TRUE HD DVD vids but they're feature films... hit me up on ICQ if it interests you @ 5956902

It's more of an experiment, I'd rather buy say 10 canned HD scenes and test them versus one exclusive shoot for the same money (assuming someone actually has 10 scenes in 1080i and are licensing them, which might not be the case).
Just thinking out loud really, would be curious to hear others' recent experiences with this sort of quality. |
what is 1080i i can shoot anything..We have hotter girls then most providers

Remember, I'm not talking about throwing up 5000kbps wmv vids on the Hun lol. I'm saying it would be nice to have a small section of it in a dedicated member's area along with the usual disclaimer warnings (massive file size, need 2GHz+ cpu, DX9 video card, etc). It would be easy to add a few scenes to play with. |

the problem for me actually is that most of the people do not want to pay more becaue i buy a HD camera. You might be interested - but how many people more? and would they want to pay a higher price? and i would also have to buy new harddrives and computers to be able to handle that stuff. and after all that hassle the stuff looks equally evil when compressed to 500 kbit/s - how many people would want to pay the bandwidth bill for offering the clips at 5000 kbit/s? thats why i don't plan to go into HD unless I don't have someone who orders enough at once to make me able to pay for all that. |
HD wont make its way to the internet for some time IMO. if its not standard over the air or in dvd yet, it is no where near ready to come to the internet. the only places that offer HD is apple.com i think. they have movie trailers in HD, but i dont know how good they look because my computer cant run them haha. i dont think most consumer computers can handle HD either.

1. As I said, bandwidth not a concern. Just a member's area perk, that's all. Do you keep a bottle of Dom in the fridge? You don't drink it instead of water each day do you? No. But yet it's there...just in case. Same principal.
2. This isn't a useless "HD won't make it's way to the internet for some time" opinion debate thread. Take that somewhere else. I agree for the most part, but I'm talking about a minority here, just for kicks. 5gb in total space won't kill a server that's setup to handle 500gb worth of scenes. And yes, there are several ways to retain members. This is a small controlled experiement, settle down. And again, for the last time, if bandwidth isn't a concern, what's the problem? 3. Agree with the "I don't want to spend money on a camera that isn't used" jibe from the content guys. Nor would I. That's why I'm asking for those tech guys that might have taken the leap for fun already, on their own, and are experimenting with it. If you're operating by your shoe-strings profit-wise, and a $1.5k HD consumer handycam might as well cost $200k to you, then this topic isn't for you. Back on topic: Any content producers fooling around with HD yet? |
