Attorney Eric M. Bernstein to Discuss 2257 Today on YNOT Humpday Lunch Radio Show
May 25, 2005 ? Attorney Eric M. Bernstein will appear on YNOT Radio?s Humpday Lunch Show today to discuss the new 2257 regulations with hosts YNOTBob and LAJ. The show starts at 3:00 PM Eastern Time, 12:00 Noon Pacific Time on YNOTRadio.com. With the recent announcement of the new 2257 regulations, the adult Internet community has been trying to make sense of what it means for adult Webmasters and other adult industry professionals. Industry chat boards everywhere have featured countless threads on this very serious matter ? some with valuable information and insight, and others with misinformation and paranoia. YNOT has stepped forward to bring the entire adult community the first live radio interview to address the new 2257 from the point of view of a prominent adult Internet attorney, Eric M. Bernstein from http://www.embalaw.com "Webmasters need to be aware of the administrative changes made by the promulgation of the new 2257 regulations. A general mistake can result in 5 years of imprisonment," Bernstein says. YNOTBob, co-host of Humpday Lunch Show and President of YNOT Network, is happy that Bernstein has agreed to be a guest on the show. "It has always been the goal of YNOT to present unbiased, timely and informed information to the industry. Our show today will hopefully help set the record straight for everyone, considering several in the industry have already resorted to drastic measures for their businesses. This is not a time to act rashly, but rather a time to make informed decisions." Eric M. Bernstein & Associates is a proud corporate sponsor of the Cybernet Expo Webmaster event in San Diego, June 12 - 15. You can meet ?one on one? with Eric at his booth during the show, and also catch him on several seminars including his one hour Q & A on Monday, June 13 at 2:45 p.m. Broadcasting every Wednesday at Noon (PT) / 3:00 p.m. (ET) at http://www.ynotradio.com for 90 minutes, The YNOT Humpday Lunch Radio Show has been entertaining and informing the adult Webmaster community since 2001. The show has featured such prominent guests and newsmakers as Jenna Jameson, Ron Jeremy, Al Goldstein, Heidi Fleiss, and openly gay Archbishop Bruce Simpson. |

He's an attorney who gave his word o LAJ that he would apologize to me for the rude and completely disrespectful way that he treated me at last years CyberNet Expo. He never did deliver on that promise to LAJ so I have no reason to show him any respect whatsoever. FACT: Eric M. Bernstien bought his way into CyberNet as a sponsor. Because of this, the attendees of CyberNet Expo will not have the benefit of listening to the normal group of attorneys who specialise in 2257 and are at the forefront of these issues. |
LAJ, do you archive your radio broadcasts so people who missed it can listen to it later?
Ill be missing the last end of it. thanks for doing this. Finally some real clarity from an expert. |

Also... we will be doing a rebroadcast on Friday at 6pm PT / 9pm ET Hit me up at jay at ynot dot com if you need anything. |

"This is free advice and only MY interpretation, and I cannot nor will not be held liable." (Loose translation-Pay me my retainer and I'll give you PAID advice. After which I'll give you MY interpretation and cannot nor will not be held liable.) Based on the fact that this statement precedes any lawyers statements, he probably did apologize man, but YOU just didn't interpret it as such. |
Thanks LAJ

I wonder... maybe it was that big "fuck you Eric Bernstein" post you made, plus the fact that you can't stop trying to hurt the guy's business, that promoted him to NOT apologize for you getting upset over being cut off on a seminar panel? I've seen a LOT of people get cut off on seminar panels over the years, almost always unintentionally, and I've only seen one person still complain about it a year later. |

This has nothing to do with how he disrespected me. He never spoke to me again after the issue even though I was right next to him many times afterwards. He had plenty of opportunities to approach me and he didn't. BTW.... It because clear to me that LAJ was pissed at me in Phoenix and it's most likely for my replies of this nature. In no way am I trying to show any disrespect for LAJ or ynot, although it may look that way. So....LAJ, Bob, and the rest of the ynot crew...Please accept my humble apology for fucking up your thread. You are good people in my book. |
when will that be from now - i never get that with all those different time zones... :helpme

Here's a clue for you...That thread was started AFTER the show. He told LAJ that he would apologise to me AT the show. This issue is not only about him cutting me off, it's about the way he did it because of his own agenda. The first time I met J.D. Obenberger, he also cut me off and gave me what I considered to be a rude answer. The difference being that he and I later discussed it, he apologised, and took the time to correctly answer the question. That's class. If you don't know all the facts, perhaps you should keep your nose out of this. In my late attempt to show a little respect to the ynot crew...I am done responding to this thread. |
25 minutes from the time of this post till humpday
*ding* twinkley |
Oh WOW! this is gonna be a good show!!!
Also, i am sure that if people attended CYBERNET-EXPO they could talk to many of their industry peers and see how others are handling 2257! :winkwink: |

I'm well aware of your viewpoint on this matter, and what YOU think the "facts" are. I just don't share your viewpoint and think your comments regarding Eric are questionable. |

Nice sig...And you are basically saying I'm biased? :1orglaugh Do me a favor...Go talk to Jay before you reply again. By pushing my buttons all you are doing is making things worse. :2 cents: P.S...Learn how to use the quote feature, newbie. :winkwink: |
Bah, quote features, whatever. I prefer the old-fashioned way, like this:
"Do me a favor...Go talk to Jay before you reply again." Dude, I work all day with Jay... do you really think we aren't in communication? :1orglaugh |

Which attorney do you use in Jersey? |
is this the guy who said it was alright to have a third party keep your records. It had come when that company that was around for 5 minutes had posted here. The name sounds familiar. When I said you cant do that people jumped down my throat saying I didnt know what I was talking about. After reading the new rules and comments low and behold I was right.
