I just read the entire Federal Register of the 2257 regs. 28CFR Part 75
looks like a complete re-alignment of the online adult biz in alot of ways. this is going to be an interesting few years coming up. looks like quicker than later as well. i also forwarded this to 2 friends that are law kids at stanford, 3rd year, just to get their reaction.
most comments from the 100's of commentors were declined by the department. wow. iron fisted. and, third party custody of records was declined. wow, say bye bye to those biz models. anyone else read this in its entirety? |
No. I would rather start eight threads per hour about it and get GFY adivce then actually read it.

OMG they completely caved on the privacy problems that the commentors brought up.
62 people involved in the process at whatever level commented that..... "compliance with this regulation, is an invasion of performers privacy and could lead to identitiy theft or violent acts." the department declines to adopt these comments. wow. iron fisted. guess no one will listen until models end up dead from fan stalkers. wow. |

Just printed it out...going to read it in it's entirety for myself. I've been trying to avoid all the "sky is falling" threads.
