It's far from being just republicans, a lot of democrats are almost just as bad only at the moment, they're not doing nearly as much damage to our world. It's not just Americans for that matter, a lot of the westernized countries are gladly accepting being dumbed down.

People on life support should be put into the hands of their next of kin, when have I ever argued that? That's why we have next of kin. I'm completely in favor of allowing the next of kin to make any decisions for a person on life support, no matter how bad of a situation they're in they should be kept alive if that's what the guardian wants.
