Who's actually had a 2257 audit/investigation?
 

Just curious to see how many webmasters out there have had someone from the Department of Justice request a copy of these documents.

If the answer is YES, please give details on what it was like, what happened, etc.

I assume that if audits would have happened there would have been threads about it already.....

No 2257 audits have EVER been done durring the entire existance of 2257 over a dozen years ago.

Hmmm. Interesting. I bet if the question were "IRS audit" we'd have a lot more hand raises.

I'm just thinking this, if you have a bunch of models who clearly look over 18, or maybe even a little borderline, do you think you'll EVER get that call? Yes, yes, I know, even if you run a MILF site or "grannies in panties" you should cover your ass. But just thinking realistically.

I know several adult video producers who have been visited by the feds. They say it was pretty easy. They call or show up and ask for a certain model or title's records. End of story. I don't see why a webmaster would get any different treatment unless they weren't compliant or acted like a dick.

The old 2257 didn't mean much . And since the new one is beeing contested ... there won't be for 30 more days

actually that is not true was told of one in confidence.they came asked for records on a certain model reviewed them and left.
