i'm curious how one shaves a cat
you couldn't get withing 50 feet of my cats with an electric clipper
and if for some reason you were able too, may i suggest wearing thick leather snake proof gloves, jacket and pants to avoid serious injury

The groomer usually has to sedate them. Although some cats will let you trim them with no problems.

ROFL... and here's a newsflash.. I shave my own pussy...er Persian Kitty...myself. Smokey is 17 years old and because of health problems the groomer at the vets won't shave him for me anymore because he's a crazed beast and needs to be zonked out when it's done. I bought a set of grooming clippers and started doing it myself at home. Takes a bit longer to do it cause I stop when he gets ornery and give him a break...but he's very happy when it's done.. he lays all over the floor on his back to get tummy rubs.
