Skilledhost Problems Anybody having them?
 

Im not sure if this has been brought up here but I currently have a site hosted with them and 3 days ago they started having probs with server contacted them and said website would be up in about 1 hour 3 days have passed and site is still not up their goes all my visitors and revenue. What im really upset with is the lack of customer support haven't heard a response after I was told at beginning of issue that my site would be up in about 1 hour im just about ready to cancel my service with them. Anybody else hosted with them?

Unfortunately I am hosted with them and have the exact same problem as you. They ruined my free sites and TGP :( I wish I have read your post before I paid them!

I have never even heard of them.
:2 cents: Stick with hosts people know of.

I learned a lesson. Now I know that it is very suspicious when their "online" support is never online, prices are too low, no references and average ticket support response time is 36 hours!

Webmasters beware of Skilledhost.com!!!! Allmost DAILY! donwtimes and it doesnt matter what package you buy $60 per year or $600, currently all my sites are dead for the 3rd day....about 30k of daily traffic!!!

i should have done a search on these guys, i used them for a small project and they have been down for over a day with complete lack of support. webmasters beware.

We here at SkilledHost have revamed everything. The servers are running
much better and we have more staff to monitor and support the servers.
On top of that we have added new support staff to handle support and
customer service. We have cut ticket time down to a few hours.
Alot of the users complaining here are still with us??

Alot of the problem is abusers to the system the ones wanting
a $5.99 account then pull 75% of memory and 80% cpu then
complain when we suspend them for no warning.

These same users then extort us by saying turn my cpu sucking
site back on or were posting negative and false post to all the forums.

We've had it with these users and them slowing the servers for the
other users.

Most of our clients are on dual xeon machines with dual 100mb/s
cards. So our machines are fast and our network never has downtime,
just certain servers. We've not logged a network logtime for
months. Weve now taken steps to get abusive users off the servers
quick so that there are not issues.

We're offering old users a free month to come back on board and
