The Chinese economy is growing faster then ever.
People over there are making more money then ever before.
How can we take advantage of that, is there a market for online porn in China? How about non porn websites?

Anything doing with cell phones and marketing through cell phones there is going to be huge and very profitable short term.

I just made a sizable investment in a cellular marketing firm there. Big numbers already.

I know porn is banned in China but maybe there are ways around this? Cell phones are obviously a huge thing over there. Is porn banned from that business aswell?

First step would be to not redirect the Chinese traffic..

I get a fair amount of joins from China and eastern countries simply by Chinese/japanese sites finding my galleries and posting them on their sites.. Sure they burn some bandwith, but then they also seem to rebill for a very long time so it's deffenetly worth it.

Looks to me like they are getting more vallid CC's over there too.

One way to profit from the Chinese market is to invest in some of the local online entertainment & gaming providers: SNDA, NTES, SINA, CHINA, SOHU are just a few you should look into. I'm long with SNDA & NTES. Look up the symbols for company information.

1. The Chinese government will block access to your website if it is porn related and even if it is mainstream if it competes with another mainstream Chinese website.

2. Chinese people don't know how to buy things online they only know how to steal.

3. Getting money from them sucks because none of them have credit cards, they use these other fucked up payment methods that require a Chinese bank account.

Think mainstream and micropayments for now. It will be a while before there are enough surfers with credit cards and even longer until the Goverment realizes they can make some money off porn and relaxes a bit. Not sure if the pirate porn DVDs for less than a dollar on every street corner are helping or hurting the acceptance of porn and future demands for the online variety.

It's funny at the moment, despite being so anti porn, they show more risque images in their official online news sites than many western countries including the US.
