Canon EOS Digital Rebel
For $600, with a 175$ 1gig mem card, battery charger etc.
good deal or no? |
Spend the extra $200 and get the XT. You will be MUCH happier with that decision. I tested out the XT and I'm extremely impressed with it. I couldn't say the same about the previous generation.
Edit: The Canon factory package includes the charger. A 1 gig Compact Flash retails for around $70. http://www.buy.com/retail/clearance/...&loc=&product= |

The main size difference comes in the battery. It lasts every bit as long but is tiny and adds only 2 oz to the body weight... thus making the total size smaller (at roughly 19oz). Check it out here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spec...on_eos350d.asp PS. I just got mine and am loving it!! http://www.9xs.net/camera/001.jpg |

If you are going to shoot professionally, get E20 and some nice lens instead.
