Camera Equip...looking 4
Looking for some suggestions on camera's, lighting etc. With the new 2257 b.s. i'm just about to find some college girls & go nuts this summer.
Also anyone in the mid atlantic down south to florida looking to do some shoots this summer/fall with multiple models get in touch. If you have camera/lighting equip, lenses etc. you are looking to sell, also hit me up. But i'd really love to hear from the pro's what kinda stuff im going to need for general indoor shoots & outdoor shoots. Gracias ; ) |
Also, not looking to spend a grip of $ on stuff, not yet anyways, so please list what i can get away with...no the high end crazy stuff.

I filmed 6 scenes for my website myself (its still not live yet) I have a Sony VX-2000 and Canon EOS Digital Rebel. I have 1000watt tungsten lighting made my lowell pro. Together it costed about $6000. Im always looking to find college girls. Let me know if I can help you.

I love my Canon GL-2, and I heard somewhere that Canon sells refurbs for $800. It's a really nice camera, especially for stuff that's going to be converted to internet files...and as for a camera, I still use an old SOny DSC-707 (I think that's the model) and it shoots a sharp pic that pops -- see my work at JOMG.com and SpunkMouth.com
Good luck! |
entry level... get a gl2... a sony or olympus digi cam ($500) and a basic light set... 1500-2000 watts
total price about: $4000 USD |
even consumer level equip these days is good enough for web work.
your imagination is more important than the hardware. |
very true... a $300 mini dv cam will be fine for web work... just have enuff lighting

I've got a sony F717 camera I'm looking to sell. Comes with 3 lens filters, 2 batteries and a 32mb 128mb and a 256mb memory sticks. Great camera for a newbie just starting out taking photos. I've used it for all my content for the last 2 years. Works great and no problems whatsoever, still have the box and everything. Hit me up at [email protected] if you're interested in purchasing it. I just upgraded to a DSLR is the only reason I'm getting rid of it.

Get a piece of thin plywood. Not the 11 layered heavy shit. The 3 to 5 layer light shit. Take tin foil and wrap one side of it. Go to the lighting section and buy a sheet of lighting difuser. It is what you see in your kitchen when you look up. Cut a piece to fit the board. Now get an inexpensive boarder... wood? Then grab two handles and screw them into the back of the board. Walla... Now when you do pics at a beach around 3pm, you don't have harsh shadows around the model, someone holds this contraption so that it reflects sunlight into those areas... You people should be paying me for this kinda shit. Now get some WHITE lights and do smaller panels for interior lighting and this time put a grip on the back that can be pluged into an arm... |

IMO, the best gonzo uses 3chip cams and just enough fill light to simulate the "look" of reality. and of course this requires expensive hardware. |
I wanna know what kinda vid camera those guys at AllInternal.com use. That shit is clean.

excellent advice. if you want people to look good you must bounce all light. |
or scrim it.
