Used to be WS_FTP Pro but nowadays I'm using FileZilla.. mainly because I can connect via SFTP & FTP using the same client.

Still using CuteFTP never found a reason to change.

I've always used SmartFTP. Proberbly always will, I see no reason to change..

im not that tech guy...but why dont we see ftp clients doing multiple connections so you can ftp more than one files ate the same time? i mean something automated.

ah,it seems core ftp pro has this function

flashfxp , and DOS batscripts for daily updates - just click the batscripts, and it does all the rest

Agreed. Only thing I've had to do for the better part of a decade is upgrade as my host has made security changes and needed newer versions.

smart ftp is what i use. it does the job good enough, i dont really need any special options.

Ive used flashfxp for over a year at least. Wont use anything else.

FlashFXP is the one I use

SmartFTP hands down. Filezilla being a close second. The GUI just isn't as pretty.

You can always use Windows Explorer as an FTP program. It works just like Windows Explorer on your computer. Open it up and type in:

ftp.yourdomain.com

up at the top. It will prompt you for the user/pass. Then you just go about moving files as you would on windows explorer.

Smart FTP works great and is FREE!

cuteftp seems most complex/powerful..
flashfxp is pretty basic, but you can load multiple copies of it as well.. and use it to FXP (connect two servers together)..
