Do you use Cascading Style Sheet

Do you use CSS even tho some browsers can't read that shit? But it does make the site tight IHMO.

CSS is the only way to go for tweaking your HTML.

Doctor Dre 05-21-2005 02:49 PM

What browsers don't support CSS?
Further more, if there are, what percentage of your surfer-base is using those browsers?
And if you get to this question, is it even worth it not using CSS to cater to those fuckwits using browsers that don't support CSS ?

There are some things that suck, like Flash which thankfully this industry has rejected (except sponsor's banners) :thumbsup

Probably same number of surfers who use Linux as their operating system, worthless surfers (worse than Chinese).

Actually, I got my first linux box a few months ago and surfing Konquerer (sp?) or Firefox on it, everything looked just like surfing sites on a MS machine. *shrug*

The only browsers I know of that don't support CSS are some older mobile phone browsers - many of the new ones that support XHTML also support a stripped down version of CSS.

Maybe the original post was referring to those using lynx as their browser client?

Just fooling around with ya. I use CSS also but only on my hubs which have little traffic in them. But on my high traffic sites, I don't want to leave money on the table, so I keep it simple web standard codes....

I use CSS to control everything in my TGP Galleries so I can simply change the .css file to get a totally new design. So no need to make changes to the actual HTML files.

radical 05-21-2005 03:42 PM

I use CSS for every webpage I build (',)

It's only like 0.1% of browsers in use today that can't handle CSS. Yes, I use it :)

azguy 05-21-2005 03:46 PM

A surfer with no CSS is not a paying customer. That simple.
