What do you buy a 7-year old for his birthday???

My buddy is having a birthday party for his son and I have to go but I don't know what to get the little squirt for his birthday. I don't want to go my normal route and get him a gift card.

Any suggestions? Remote control car? Pokemon? :helpme

Wizzo 05-21-2005 07:15 AM

I would say some new starwars crap would be the ticket...:pimp

mrthumbs 05-21-2005 07:15 AM

little squirt?

emthree 05-21-2005 07:19 AM

RC CAR / Model Car / Hotwheels collection
Games for his systems

It all depends on what he's into really.

$50 gift card for the kid. To a 7 year old a $50 piece is like giving them $50000.

He'll be able to get all kinds of cool shit that mom and dad normally wouldnt buy them.

LittleSassy 05-21-2005 07:34 AM

cool robot...i wanted to have one when i was seven but my dad didnt want to...he said its too boyish:)

Very true!

I was thinking about a PSP but that is a little too much for a 7 year old.

i like the idea of a robot. my granddaughter is 7, and she enjoys stuff like that. also ask your friend if his kid likes g.i. joe or transformers. also a small personal stereo or walkman might be good.

wow

and a little expensive

all the other adults would look bad because you give him such an expensive thing.

go for little things.

ask his dad what he/she likes

My sentiments exactly. I don't want to go overboard and get something that extravagant. His dad does a well enough job spoiling him rotten. I think I am leaning towards remote control car or some sort of toy robot.

lapdance from an 11 yo. That'll make his day!

If you really like to know a good present, ask in the toyshop.

Remote control anything. The louder, the better.
