Federal Law Enforcement Crackdown on Adult Webmasters?!?
I hate to sound like I am part of the tinfoil hat lobby, but have any of you looked at Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' most recent round-up?
Operation FALCON: Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally (heads-up, its a DOJ site!) From their press release... WASHINGTON, DC ? Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales and Ben Reyna, Director of the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), today announced that the USMS, working closely with its federal, state and local partners, has successfully completed the largest fugitive apprehension operation in American history. Through Operation FALCON (?Federal And Local Cops Organized Nationally?), which was conducted April 4?10, 2005, Deputy U.S. Marshals and their law enforcement partners arrested a total of 10,340 fugitives and cleared more than 13,800 felony warrants. BUT... Going from the media reports... http://www.kaimin.org/viewarticle.php?id=4331 The operation spanned 94 U.S. Marshals districts and nabbed 10,340 people. One hundred and sixty two were wanted for murder, 638 had outstanding arrest warrants for armed robbery and 553 were wanted for rape or sexual assault. What happened to the other 8700+ subjects arrested, what were they arrested for, was this a dress rehearsal for something else? :helpme |
if they had math skills they wouldn't be cops.
|
Sounds like a police state in action :(
|
Falcon is an interesting acronym. lol
|
Are you thinking that the other 8700+ were adult webmasters? Fucking tard :2 cents:

If the DOJ with the help of State and local law enforcement can round up 10,000 people in one swoop over a week, what could this mean in the future? They say they nabbed 10,000+ undesireables, but only mention what they charged 1600+ with, I want to know why the other 8700+ were picked up for, have they been charged, detained, released? You're the fucking tard for not looking at the big picture, as much as you don't want to belive its entirely possible. :( |
Operation Falcon....pfffftt....I would have called it OPERATION SUPREME JUSTICE LIBERTY EAGLE PATRIOT FREEDOM!

if someone already had outstanding warrants and were picked up, they would not necessarily be charged with anything new... at least it would not have to happen right away as their are already existing charges. you are misharacterizing the situation and your nazi style reference with the injection of the word "undesirables" which does not hardly equate to "homicidal killers still walking the street in your neighborhood" is indicative of a mind set and behavior that is no less extreme than the behavior your claim to be worried about. besides, do you really think you are some fucking genious that picked up one something that the media and ACLU, every civil rights group as well as everyone else in the country didn't? how much of lunatic do you have to be to make up bizarre police state conspiracy theories based on the fact that the government finally got off its ass and started trying to arrest dangerous felons who skipped bail or fled prosecution? this has been a massive, well known, well documented problem for a very long time. |
Federal Super Patriot Mega 4000 !
|
rounding up fugitives (people with existing warrants who have already been adjudicated as lawbreakers) is not the same as rounding up innocent people and charging them with a crime.
|
these were all people who had warrents of some type or another. Most of the time if you have a warrent and you it's not for a violent crime, they don't go out of thier way to get you.Instead they assume that eventually they will happen across you and arrest you. This was a nationwide sweep of many of those people.
