"Revenge of the Sith" the movie... I am disappointed.
I was stunned that I wasn't bowled over by this movie.
I have found something fantastic and awe inspiring from each Star Wars movie. This one however just didn't do it for me. Sure the effects and music and designs kicked ass but the story telling was just absurd. If you've ever been near molten lava you know you can't get that close. I'm sure the DVD will have lots of cool stuff so I'll wait for that. |
So why did you make a new thread about it? Post in the other 50 threads already created about good and bad opinions about the movie?

I think you're being a little harsh on it, man. It was a good movie. What'd you expect, though? "Shawshank Redemption"? You aren't going to get intellectual satisfaction with Lucas. You have to admit it was miles and miles better than the last 2 though. |

Star Wars is just a fucking "space cowboy show." Always has been and always will be. If you're looking for personal fulfillment, you're definitely in trouble if you turn to "movies" for it. Get a life. THEN, go to the movies.
It's a joke, folks. Most movies are. Get over it. And, yes, I saw SWIII Wednesday, albiet, with Spanish subtitles. LOL I've seen'em all now. Here's my take on #3. You and I learned Luke and Leia were bro/sis in Ep. 6. We also found out that DV was Luke's father in Ep. 6. However, future viewers won't wonder if Luke will get Leia, instead of Hans. They'll already know the relationships involved, i.e., bro/sis and pappy. Future viewers will know all of this in Ep. 3 which will change their perceptions (from ours) about 4-5-6. Also, in #3, R2 can fly. However, in 4-5-6, he's "grounded." Even Lucas said he made this series for "him," not for you. Personally, I think he did a great job. If you were such a fucking great director, you should have made the movie! |

Another small hole in the story...
In part 4 when Obi-Wan gives Luke his first light saber he tells him that his father wanted him to have it. No where in any of the new movie does Anikin ever give a light saber to Obi-Wan to give to his unborn child. |
if you expect great script or acting in any of these big effect movies you will be very disappointed. The focus is on the effects the actors are props to move the action to the next effect .

I've never seen any of the orginals, but this movie felt like a remake.
It's hard to describe, but it just felt like someone was remaking a film. |

I thought it was great, I think what happens is some of you get your expectations built up so high that nothing could possibly compare.
