..thumbs so small in size? I have no idea how people that submit to my sites make there thumbs like 5.5 kb and shit. Take today for example:

thumb1 (orignal)

So i take that image and save it, then put it in photoshop, then resave it as thumb2. Now the fucking thing is 26.26 KB!!! I mean wtf, its the same image - all i did was photoshop and resave it as thumb2.

I try to reduce size thing in photoshop to 4:

How are you guys making your thumbs like 5kb and still making them look so good!!? Help me. :disgust

In photoshop, use "Save for Web"...
I took your "thumb2" and had it down to -4 kb. without any loss of quality!

That helped some, but it is still at 11.15 KB. How are people making it 5.5KB though. :Oh crap

Take your thumb2 and save it as a jpeg (quality 50) and you have 3.89 kb.

I have always wondered the same. I am not a PS expert. I am not that good at it either.
