Hello again. This is Donovan Phillips (as I'm sure you already figured out). I'd really like to go over a few things with all of my affiliates. Please allow me to ramble for a moment. I want to go over some numbers with you.

Starting with the last time I sent out a list of hosted galleries, I've been sending the galleries in the format you'll see below. You'll notice the url to each gallery starts with http://refer.ccbill.com/ . It's important that you notice this because your stats are going to be FUCKED UP a little compared to your stats with other sponsors. Why? Because my way counts EVERY click you send TO THE GALLERY. Almost EVERY OTHER SPONSOR counts only clicks FROM the gallery TO THEIR WEBSITE (and some of them only count part of those, but that's another story).

I've been in this business for a very long time now. I love statistics and know most of you do too. The problem is, I WANT THE REAL FUCKING NUMBERS, damn it! That's why I'm sending you my galleries in this format from now on.

If you've ever been a sponsor and offered hosted galleries, or if you have detailed stats on your tgps, I'm sure you've noticed that of all the visitors you send to a tgp gallery, only 2% to 5% of them click through to the actual site itself. Let me pause for a second and do some math for you now. I want to use nice, easy numbers so I'm going to say that a sponsor converts for you at 1:.350. For simplicity, let's split the 2% to 5% click through number right down the middle and say that 3.5% of surfers who visit galleries click through to the site itself. So for every 10,000 people you send to a tgp gallery 350 of them actually click through to the site, and ONE of them joins. Your stats show a conversion ratio of 1:350.

BUT if you are sending traffic to galleries the way I'm having you send them to mine, your stats would show 1:10,000 ratios instead of 1:350 ratios because ALL 10,000 CLICKS TO THE GALLERY ARE SHOWN. However, IN BOTH CASES your ACTUAL MONEY EARNED would be the exact same. My way just lets you see the exact number of people who left your site and clicked through to my gallery, instead of the number of people who clicked through from my gallery to my site.

Makes sense to me. It's great for stats hounds, but I think it might scare the affiliates a bit to see their ratios change. You know how people never read announcement emails. :)

It makes a TON of sense... Funny because I tried talking to another big sponsor who uses this method, ATKCash. They complain that TGP's have shitty ratios on their FHG. But they don't understand that we are counting EVERYONE. An affiliate who posts their gallery only counts those who click through to the sponsor. An SEO guy only counts who clicks through to the sponsor.

They think that because of the 1:10000 ratio, FHG's and TGP traffic isn't worth it. But like you just explained in plain 6th grade mathmatics, the money coming in is the same money. Just the clicks were different.
