Today my 5th grade son came home and told me that his teacher (a white woman) made all the white children line up on one side of the room and all the minorities (blacks, jews, hispanics, asians) line up on the other. The whites then had to walk across the room one-by-one and deliver a short "apology" for "centuries of oppression."

WHAT IS THIS SHIT? Is this even legal? I feel like sueing.

I believe him. Schools do some stupid shit in the name of "equality".

We've pulled our sons from a few schools for shit equally as stupid. The latest being locking up all the non-Mexican kids in "study hall" while the Mexican kids had their Cinco De Mayo celebration.

I don't remember them ever having a German or Norwegian heritage celebration even though 90% of the students were one the other or both.

Anyhell, that was 3 years ago, and we finally moved to a less ethnically diverse, but more sane community.
