Jon Rube has scammed someone else though TheGFYChallenge...
 

Just got an email from someone else who was scammed by Jon Rube. He can't post here, so I am copying his email below. If ANYONE else has been scammed PLEASE let me know as we are in the process of putting together some things, some of which are already in action....

I too was scammed for $1000 by Jonathon Rube.

I wrote the clustered statistics system for him. He paid me half and was supposed to pay me another $1000.

During development he was available all day ... usually annoying me while I was programming.

As soon as the money was due. Literally the next day he was gone. Nowhere to be found.

When he first paid me he actually said that he was waiting on investment money. Well it sounds like he paid me the deposit with your money.

Can you please post this on GFY as I cannot post.

This scammer needs to go down.

He is still MIA... but I would bet he is still in NC. The information I have so far suggests that he is still at his same address...

One thing for sure, that most of us can agree on, is that Jon didn't have a whole lot of money, so he couldn't have gone far. My guess is that Jon started putting this together (GFYChallenge) and realized it wasn't going to workout... so he took the money and ran.

I would guess that he is still in NC, living at the same address. It would take money to move or go very far. Even if he used all $2,000 that he stole from me it couldn't last him more than a month.

I know Jon is still reading the boards. He will read this post and all of the other threads in this post. I just wish he would man up so everyone could work things out. I don't understand why he traded his reputation and any chance of ever being succesful in this industry for $4,000 ($2,000 from me, $1,000 from Machine Gun Kelly, and $1,000 from Blake). It just isn't worth it, and that's what I don't understand.

Jon, why don't you reply to this thread and let us know what the hell was and is going through your head? Don't be shy...
