Crazy Frog doing your nut in? (to UK webmasters)
 

Apparently the ASA has been bombarded with complaints about that damn Crazy Frog ringtone ad which is currently showing twice in almost every goddam ad break on most TV channels that show adverts.

i noticed that recently it has a little black box over its rude bits...on that remix comercial with the mothercycle and YES they are fucking annoying. Add those damn birds and even that dragon (we can fly together!). FFS.

Uh, wel its not just me complaining. The ASA have had more complaints about this ad then any other in such a short period of time. So much so, they have posted a message about it on their website.

And yes, if I pay to watch Sky TV, then I dont want annoying adverts played to me every ad break more than once. So I do complain, and thousands of others have/are doing the same.

Thanks for your thoughts though, and interestingly, you are the first person I have heard of who actually is sticking up for Jamster and their advertising policies. the rest of the TV watching public are doing what is correct. - Complaining. :thumbsup

Jamster made over £14 million from the original crazy frog, so they are gonna keep changing it in different ways to sell more and more and more......

I just hate when i'm watching UK MTV that in 1 ad break there are 7 ads for the frog or sweetie, then it starts to annoy.

I have only seen it a couple of times as I switch channel when it comes on. However, the first time I heard it when it was new and ringing on someone's phone it was mildly amusing.

It's even on the bloody terrestrial channels, and you know its all the kids with mobiles that are subscribing. No wonder they turned over such a high profit 0.o

Yep that bloody frog is driving me nuts as well every damn advert it's on they must be making some serious cash on it though it amazes me what crap comes out now a days.

Somebody needs to stamp on that fucking frog and squash it. THE most annoying adverts in the history of UK TV? Personally I can't think of any others that made me hit mute every time or change the channel.

as I am currently watching Top Of The Pops I would like to add that stupid Akon song with the chipmunk voice to the list of most annoying things in the UK at the moment. The fact that it has been #1 for about a month just shows that the same people that buy ringtones are the ones buying singles.

You think it's UK only? I Wish. Whole fucking Europe is infected with that crap.

In Germany you see these ads almost 12 hours a day. I'm not kidding you.

The company that do that ring tone are in a bit of shit as it is actually a recurring billing as they send you a new ring tone each month.
