Sony HDR-FXR classes?(pic)
 

I'm gonna be shooting with this baby pretty soon, but before I do I would like to gain enough knowledge as I can before I start shooting with it. Anyone know of classes you can take in the L.A. area for it?

no need for classes :) It's not alot different than the 2100. The only thing you really have to get used to is it's wider and framing stuff is different.

It's not alot diff than the vx2000/2100

I shoot with the HDR-FX1... I gaurantee now that you are going 16x9, you can never get used to 4:3 again

if you are shooting for the web its really a waste , also if you dont know how to light .It will still look like crap just hdv crap. To hdv is a waste for porn.

I looked at both you really cant compare them not same lighting and why post them wide screen? Wide screen only looks good on a big screen other wise it looks weird in my opinion

True, but who these days doesn't have a big screen or a widescreen? Especially to view porn on DVD.
