This is nice stuff... it will allow us non-video geeks to take top notch video without lugging around a huge camera.

problem is, from the tech specs (i chip sensor) it will not be a good avail light camera.

One benefit is that you can buy one of these to use as a cheap deck instead of your higher priced HDV cam.
