If you don't believe in god do you still ...
teach your children about "It" and give them the option to decide for themselves later in life?
I don't have a problem with them going to church, but am torn as to what I should say if and when my kids ask me why I don't go. My wife says to be honest, so when the situation arises, I probably will. I'm still curious to know how others handle it though. |
if my future wife wants to instill it in our kids i wont have a problem with that, still doesnt mean i believe in it though...

as an agnostic, it is difficult to decide how much of my belief showed be bestowed upon my children...
as much as I find religion laughable and tragic, if by using it, my kids can feel better about themselves or live good lives, then it's not a bad thing... if there comes a time when they decide to attend church, I'll not stop them, as it is for them to decide who to believe...unless it's some kooks like the catholic church or Potter house.... |

With my wife going to church regularly now though, I have a hard time when she tells me to fuck her in the ass. Note-calling someone a hypocrite DURING sex, is never a good thing. |

I don't have any kids yet, but my plan is to try and provide them information on a broad range of religions and let them decide for themselves.
I think it's wrong for parents to force a certain religion on their children, especially when those children get to an age where they can make their own decisions. I've researched a lot of different religions, haven't found any that I completely agree with all aspects of. |
