The Free Speech Coalition will launch a injunction and get a temporary restraining order that will be around 3 to 6 months until it gets in front of a judge. At that time the judge will have to hear their side and a legal battle will start - causing the long term restraining order until its resolved. This may take years (probably up to 5) and by then proper changes will be made and those that are unconstutional will be taken out.

The idea that content providers and listing the original source for your content is not good enough on your website clearly shows its not intended to be a law to help stop CP but rather harassment of the industry as a whole.

We (and many of our competitors) have all the records in order in worse case scenerio you can still rely on the trusted sources that have been supplying content for years to you - this is not the time to cry the 'sky in falling' and 'get out of porn'

well, duh! Of course it is harrassment. It is exactly on the same level as using zoning bylaws to block strip clubs and adult book and video stores. It is an end run around free speech and other freedoms in order to achieve the goal. What they cannot do by proving obscenity or other, they will do by tying us all up in knots with more paper than cash.

Ever wonder why I fight so hard against .XXX or .SEX extensions? Just like zoning laws...

You may feel I am stating the obvious, but watching threads and talking to webmasters there is a sudden panic and feeling they are leaving the industry. It simply is not the case. Sifting through all the shit and bush hating - there are deeper and broader problems that this can cause. Homeland security where any group if they get ahold of passport information can now create fake ones with proper information attached... and also lets not forget the selling content to smart newbies who want to stalk a model and found the perfect way to get all the info they need to find them.

Any reason to encourage support for the Free Speech Coalition to combat the new 2257 regs is a good one. I think it's a smart move on Paradises part to get involved as this affects everyone. If they generate a sale, give a client something free, and donate to the FSC at the same time, everyone wins. Nice move guys. Looking forward to learning more about this topic
