Bahamas - Anyone have any vacation tips?

I've had one of my best holidays on the Bahamas almost five years ago.
A former friend of mine owned an island named Rudder Cut in the Bahamas. Unfortunately he's currently in prison for a long time, otherwise I would certainly visit him again.

Looks great. I think we are going to try and find a "island hopping" package for a week or 2. I'd like to visit some of the lower islands that are not part of the tourist trap. I thought there were a couple of gfy'ers who actually lived there. If so, hit me up, I'd like your advice. Thanks!

Forget island hopping. Stay at Atlantis. I went for a weekend for business and loved it so much I came back the very next weekend and stayed for 2 weeks straight. I tested rooms in all three sides. I love that place. The rest of the Bahamas doesn't even compare.

I'm taking Odie this weekend so it should be even better than before. :winkwink:

if you try to get weed from a black kid and then he tells you to rent a scooter first, don't rent the scooter. you will end up weeving in and out of traffic on this scooter and travel halfway across the island. you will finally get the pot and then it will be dirty crappy weed.

just sit on the beach and relax :)

Atlantis is ok if your looking for an expensive tourist trap. I think you have the right idea with the island hoping tours.

Maybe you can get ahold of shap I know he lives down there.

Bahamas are casino's with beaches connected

Be very careful with the taxis, and also make sure that you drink botteled water. And when ordering in a local place to eat, ask if the food is spicy. Some of it you will not be able to eat

Stay out of the flea markets, away from the hair braiders and always ask the hotel how far it is to where you want to go. The dirtbag taxi drivers love to drive your ass all over when you could have walked two blocks. Giligans Island is not far from Nassau I believe its called the Blue Lagoon tour water is amaizingly clear.
