TGP submitters / TGP Site owners.
 

I am building a bunch of Free Hosted Gallery pages for ClickCash webmasters to use.

I make gallery pages for my own ads but i buy my spots so I am not scrutinized and held to the same standards as those who submit for free.

So, what is the industry standards with TGP pages these days? How many links on the page can you have, what is the most common number of thumbs? Reciprical links, how many should there be?

For the recip links I can allow the webmaster to enter in the recip links when they are generating the gallery page, I would need to know where on the page to place the links and how many to allow. Also should I give them a spot to include a banner w/recip link or is just a text link ok (text link only would be much easier from programming point of view).

Any thing else I am missing? What should I focus on to help these guys get the pages accepted. Again I pay for all my spots so I have never had to fine tune my page to the point to make the TGP owners want to pick me :winkwink:

Do the big tgp's even accept FHG pages or are they more used for the smaller TGP's or the people who start their own TGP's and need filler ?

TGPs usually use Sponsor Galleries for themselves. I don't think its common pratice to submit FHG's.. atleast it shouldn't be

But here is some standards

recips = usually three

thumbs = 15 - 20

sponsor links = 2 - 3

No more than 4 links
No Java
No iFrames
No encrypted script
More and more are limiting content weight - I know pinkworld does
Minimum 15 pics for picture gallery
Minimum 3 vids for movies gallery

Sounds about right.

Recip placement should be at or near the top, preferrably in a neat 3 column table with at least 200px width per cell to allow for most common recips.

Allowing image-based recips shouldn't be hard from a programming perspective, it's still just text (html) to be insterted into the file and is necessary for some tgp's.

Webcam pics are generally not accepted to TGP's because of image size.

3 recips, min. 12 thumbs, no more than 3-4 outbound links, THUMBS AND IMAGES MUST BE CLEAN AND CLEAR...

Most sites won't accept FHGs.. But they'll use them themselves, even the "big" sites... Something else to keep in mind with webcam galleries.. most sites won't accept them as the full size webcam pics are too small (320x240)...

thats why i am using all the hdtv content only from ifriends... large images, and good clarity.

Any suggestions to increase chances of being accepted based upon content and design of the page? I know a lot of people will be submitting these so i want to give them the best chances of being accepted from the design aspect of the page.
