Those who use protein powder...
what do you mix it with? the only thing i can find thats pretty easy to make that it tastes good with is oatmeal. but im not going to eat oatmeal twice a day. i tried milk or yogurt and it tasted like ass. any other suggestions?

peanut butter if you want to add some healty fats and good flavor. Put ice in it and chop it first. Grape nuts is god too. Cant go wrong witha banana.

A frozen banana makes it thick and cold like a milk shake...other than that, all you need is enough water to get the blender going, about 1 cup. Sometimes I add a tablespoon of oj concentrate too, it tastes great.

I've studied this, and I've come up with the perfect mix. This is tried and tested, so you gotta trust me on this.
Here's the perfect mix: Protein powder Silk Soy Milk ( or regular milk ) Banana A couple HUGE spoonfulls of peanut butter. That's about as good as it gets, folks :) |

mix it with as little water as needed to get it thinner than a milkshake... chug that and drink a glass of water it helps if you have a shaker that you can violently shake the protein + water in - http://www9.netrition.com/netrition_...ttle_page.html is cheap and good I drink around 2 a day and have tried a bunch, EAS Precision Protein, Natures Best/Isopure, GNC stuff, Myoplex (ugh), Designer Whey, Cytosport Muscle Milk, etc and no matter which you try there is no sense in drinking a huge protein shake if you don't have to I personally like the Muscle Milk protein shakes as they aren't as thick when mixed w/ like 6-7oz water and most flavors are pretty good (root beer float, mocha joe, cookies & creme). They are a little fattier than other protein shakes out there but it's essential fats that you're body needs anyway. I've tried the peanut butter, fruits, chocolate milk, low carb ice creams, oatmeals and all that other shit in my shakes but it just takes too long... when I drink a shake its cuz I'm in a hurry or don't want to go through the hassle of "making" something. Takes be about 30 seconds to mix up a shake and pound it. |

i just mix my vanilla whey protein up with a spoon in 20 oz. or so of water and drink it down before and after my workouts.

Best shake I had was the EAS stuff (vanilla) with a tablespoon of peanut butter, crushed ice, and some water.
Tastes like a peanut butter shake. The chocolate ones are pretty good too by themselves. Otherwise you can take the vanilla and mix strawberries & such in them too. |

bud, it's a matter of experimentation. you will eventually come across one that is both cost effective and tolerable. before i gained a lactose intolerance a few years ago i would use milk, eggs, and peanut butter lol. it was pretty damn good...
but after the lactose intolerance it took me awhile to even find a protein drink that my stomach could handle - now that i've found one, (egg protein), i just mix it with a tad bit of ice, and water. and it doesn't taste bad at all. all about experimenting. |

I usually mix mine with 30mg of dbol/day and 500mg/test enanthate a week, and 250mg deca/week.
Oh, and if you've got a decent metabolism or do a bit of cardio, mix that shit up with whole milk and chuck in some eggs for good measure. |

depends what kind of powder it is. some of them mix easy, i.e. the expensive ones, and the sheap ones mix like shit.
i normally make smoothies in a blender. you get all the other stuff in there and blending, then you slowly pour in the powder so it doesnt go in in a big clump. i can never really even taste the powder if you do it right. |

I grow muscle real fast so I've had to cut back on protein powders BUT I use rice protein. Puts muscle on so fast it's scary.
Taste should come second to absorption and maximum distribution to your system without foul ups. Potassium, magnesium and essential oils should be part of that shake or drink. You're drinking to gain bulk, taste is secondary. Once your body gets use to the benefits of the protein it'll taste like sweet ice cream after a while. |
Stanabol+Test.propionate+VPX zero carbs protein is the best choise :)
