What time should I get in line for Star Wars?
 

Local theater here is showing it in 20 theaters at midnight tonight. All 20 theaters are already sold out.

So I have 11am tickets for tomorrow. Arrive about 9am to get a good seat?

4400 seats sold out for midnight.

I think i'm gonna wait till it's out for at least a week and then go, avoid all the chaos... :disgust

i think i will wait a couple of days to see that movie..

Waiting in line all that time for a movie is ridiculous.

That's precisely what I'll tell him. Then I'll tell him that with the 2 hours I would have lost waiting in line I made about 2 grand. I sunk that into my home theater and didn't have to deal with rude people talking, crying babies, and germ sneezing warts and had a grand ole time. :1orglaugh

I'll never wait in line for entertainment, I can make my own entertainment if I am that desperate.

I was first in line for the first Orlando, FL showing of Star Wars in 1977. I waited then I'll wait now. But i won't stay up until 3am to see it ;-)

I'm going next week or so.

I'm going to the midnight showing with my son. Probably be at the theater about 9pm. Watching the geeks should help pass the time...

I never said he should wait in line. I am going to see the movie friday afternoon (without the annoying teenagers).

But Star wars is the kind of movie you have to see in a movie theater.

I made a bootleg copy from last nights show. I sale cheap.

All the other Star Wars movies premiered at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, so a bunch of dork... um... I mean kids lined up there a few weeks ago to be the first to see this latest installment. Problem is... it was debuting at the Arclight Theater down the street.

So a friend of mine was driving past the Chinese Theater the other day and saw them all bundled up with their folding chairs, bottles of water and snacks. So he leans out his window and yells at the top of his lungs... "THE FORCE IS STRONGER OVER AT THE ARCLIGHT, ASSHOLES!!!" :1orglaugh
