Then again, look at this from the DOJ point of view.

Imagine if they DIDN'T have the cross referencing or single image to model release matching.

Assume they want to get in & get out. They don't want to sit around your place dicking around while you take 4 hours to try to figure out what image is who, where it came from and if you have the release or ID for it or not.


They will probably have a list of a few image names from your site, and simply say... "We'd like to see the records for these." and 5 minutes later they are on their way.

I agree that if they understood the way the industry works, that they would specifically allow some provisions for remote access to the documents and having them in electronic form being OK.

Hmmmmmmmmmm actually, perhaps it is. Or it could be easily argued to be? Technically having the documentation accessable at a remote location, but available locally "on demand" is just something of using a remote electronic filing cabinet. The gov is a big advocate of paperless offices & eletronic filing of as much as possible these days. :winkwink:
