Will you comply with 2257?
I have a feeling some webmasters, even those in the US, may not comply (or even make an effort) with the new 2257's... this is just based on the fact that so many have not made an effort to comply with the existing regulations in the past.

Their just using this to try & weed out the proliferation of bad pornography practice.
No it won't work, but they just opened a new department, it costs $, so people have to show their doing something. So they'll find 20 or 30 people who offer scat sites, virtual violence, & hang them out for people to see....& then their will be a 30% rise in the traffic to these sites hosted in other countries. Affiliate programs will begin to provide their webmasters with whatever they need to continue being able to send sales, you can bet on that. |
Yes I will why risk not following it?

Being from Canada I suppose it's not necessary for me to comply (actually I think it is since I do 95% of my business with Americans) but I have been for months and will be in the future.

Ummm... Not 100%. But sometimes I put up the 2257 info. I couldn't care less about this law.
