"Revenge of the Sith"!!! Who's goin'? How stoned ya' gonna be?
 

I've got tickets for the first day but it's gonna be a fucking mad house. Entire theatre packed with old ass mo-fos like me cause the kids will be in school squirming in torture because they can't see it til night or the weekend.

Already people are gettin' wasted and the debut is two days away! People are camped out in front of the movie theatre in costume already!

I'm bettin' it's first weekend will break records of perhaps $200 million since it'll open midnight Wednesday. There's too much shit happening in this movie to see once. So returns are gonna pile in.

Any old timers around who remember when the first Star Wars movie debuted?

I remember going to see Episode 1 at a local theater with my kids. There wasn't even really a lineup there, (small town theatre). But there was this one dork with his face painted like Darth Maul. People were pointing and laughing at him. Even his friend looked embarrassed to be there with him. He probably cried himself to sleep that night.

I wanted to go see the new one this weekend but my kids hate Star Wars. I guess that should tell me something. LOL.

I was only about 4 or so when the first one came out I think, but I remember seeing Return of the Jedi in the theatre. I don't remember there being so much hype with people dressing up and camping out back then.

My kids have never been into sci-fi for whatever reason, they're more into horror / slasher movies. They made me sit through House of Wax a few weeks ago. (actually it wasn't that bad, kinda funny)

the target audience cant be only 15 year old kids, when I see all the hype about these movies, honestly I dont understand it :)

When I went to the premiere of "Friday" back in the day, the whole audience broke out in cheers when "Craig" beat "Deebo" - of course we were the only whities in the room :)

When Episode I debuted, with the Star Wars logo appearing on the screen with the music kicking in, a number of people reportedly openly wept. It wasn't because they were taken in by the movie, it was because they realized that it's been 20 years now and they're still virgins.

the nerds are over 25 and they help the kids buy tickets, which helps the nerds in hollywood richer and richer, dont worry once you turn 20 you start to understand the bullshit in it all. :thumbsup
