It's the ONLY thing to do when you cant get credit, have no cash, and owe a lot of money.

You'd be surprised at how many of KMarts vendors will extend new credit to them now.

While I agree with you K-Mart has become one of the worst retail outlets out there and it's all due to their own fault providing shitty service etc...I don't know what good will come out of thousands more people in this country becoming unemployed.

Now mind you a majority of these people might not have the skills to do anything else but run cash registers, stock shelves or load trucks at distribution wharehouses...and if they are 40+ years in age it's going to be twice as hard to find a job regardless of experience.

They won't have the porn industry to fall back on in times of financial difficulty...they will just have to hope they can find another job that pays them $6-$7 an hour.

Damn, my life must suck...I've seen a lot worse stores than K-Mart.

They do have a couple billion secured in new credit, and are planning on trimming a lot of jobs, stores, and dead leases on unused buildings. They might come out of it next year and survive. But fuck, even though Sam's dead, he's still pretty tough competition. Wal-Mart kicked everybody's ass over the holidays.

I was thinking same thing about buying some of there stock. About a year or two back they were riding around 15 dollars a share and right now you can beat a 80cents a share.

Fuck, I just came from our local K-Mart and I'm MAD as hell. When we had our baby, our friends and family went shopping up there and we ended up with 4 of the SAME exact outfits, plus a pack of recieving blankets that we just don't need, so we were gonna go up there and swap them out for other clothing.

Well, they said that they have a new policy now that if you don't have a receipt, they won't do anything for ya, not even a change out of clothing. What's up with that shit ??? ANY other store would do that, as a matter of fact, JC Penney did, NO questions asked. I know that Wal-Mart does the same thing, I worked there for almost 6 years, he he he.

So, why does K-Mart come out with a jackass policy like that ??? Talk about a way to scare off a customer. I know that I now have a VERY sour feeling towards them after that happening.

Sure, I could go and ask for everyone's receipts to return the things, but I'd feel kinda stupid doing that.

They can shut down their fucking store. Wal-Mart always puts the customers first, I wonder why they're the number one retailer.... Maybe K-Mart should take some fucking lessons on how to treat a customer.
