Question for big domain sellers, Taboo, DomBuyer etc
Let's say you sell a big $$$ domain. You have it locked, but need to unluck it for a few sec in order to transfer it to the new owner. Technically is it possible for someone to take over the domain from you or how do you protect yourself?

you have to unlock domains to make a transfer pretty much

I believe with the new Icann rules, you will still receive a confirmation email to the address on file. It's only if you DON'T reply that it will get auto-transferred ... you should still have the ability to DENY the request though as long as your email is valid.
I'm no pro, but there's my 2 cents :) |
In the time that you unlock it and complete the transfer I very much doubt someone is going to be able to steal it from you. Typically your registrar requires you to authorize a transfer. Give them a call and see what they recomend.
