Is this true about programmers and spam?
:disgust
Is it true that if a programmer has had anything to do with creating something for spam he cannot work for a legitimate company? Im sorry for this thread being very "newbie-ish". I have a friend who told me that if he creates something having to do with spam he'll be blacklisted from legitimate companies if they find out. Honestly I think that's bullshit talk but I want your opinions. Thanks - Jarrod |
If you are going to apply for work for aol or microsoft for example, putting "I created a very successful mailer software that mails 10 Mil/day and is currently used by 1000s of mailers" on the resume may not be THAT good of an idea...

Thanks for your reply woj. I know I was pretty stupid in posting this message as people will look down on me. I would like to tell you guys this isnt about me, Im an HTML coder who cant change my title that says "elite coder" because I dont have over the certain amount of posts. I knew this was such a newbie message. I just get very depressed about my situation at times. Anyways thanks for your help.
