everyone says don't expect money from freesites until 6 months
 

Why is that? You don't get initial sales from the link lists? Or do they meen when the search engines pick up your freesites ,that's when better money will come in?

6 months gives time for revshare to kick in nicely too :winkwink:

Any money? No. You should see sales earlier than 6 months from the LL's. Maybe at least 6 months for sales from the SE traffic.

6 months seems too be a long time for *no* money. You should see some sales, like I said, before 6 months...all depends on which LL's accept your sites.

You'll make money within the first two weeks of your listing, but money will continue to roll in for months to come. For example, I've got freesites I submitted 7 months ago that are still making sales. Hell, some of them just got indexed by Yahoo and are getting a few hundred hits a day for some really good terms.
