NatNet gets new digs!

Atlanta, Georgia --- May 16, 2005 --- NationalNet, Inc announced today that they will be moving into their new offices in Downtown Atlanta this week. The 22,000 square foot office will house the entire staff and allow Administration and Technical Operations to work under the same roof for the first time since 2000. The office consumes the entire 10th floor of the 22 story high rise building located at 55 Marietta Street in the heart of downtown Atlanta. This office is in addition to the 12,000 square foot Data Center that NatNet acquired in the fourth quarter of 2004 and began occupying in early 2005.

"We are very excited to be moving into our new offices" said Bill VanVorst, Executive Vice President of NationalNet. "Currently all of our Accounting, Legal, Administrative and Management functions are based in our Jonesboro, Georgia office and only our System Administration, Network Administration and Programming staff are based within the Data Center offices. I feel this move will tremendously increase our productivity due to the close proximity of the different departments."

The new offices include a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center that will house the System Administrators and Network Engineers. It includes a complete video wall, full of 48" Screens that will be used to monitor the network uptime and server performance from a graphical interface. Connected by a 25 foot plate glass window will be a War Room/Conference Room that will serve as a Command Center similar to the Situation Room of the White House. This room allows Senior Staff to assemble employees, vendors, or outside support personnel to resolve any event without disrupting the System Administrators in their day-to-day tasks. Additionally, there is a full conference room, extremely modern break room, dozens of offices including an executive suite for company executives and their assistants.

"In the early days of NatNet we were all in the same offices and our servers were not even in the same city", said Tony Morgan, President of NationalNet. "In 2000 we purchased our own Data Center but the office portion was too small to house everyone so we split up the operations. Since then we have outgrown three Data Centers and our Administrative offices. The new 12,000 square foot data center took care of the Data Center growth for the foreseeable future and our new offices will handle our personnel growth for a number of years to come".

The offices will be moved on Thursday and Friday of this week. The move will be completely transparent to all NatNet clients. Any client, prospective client, vendor, or friend who is interested is invited to tour either new facility by contacting any staff member of NationalNet.

Thanks for the kudos everyone...you have no idea how much this means to us nor how excited we are about this move. This industry has been very good to us and we will never forget that!!!

Mikey....as I said, *YOU* are the biggest reason that we now own NatNet. I will be forever in your debt.

justsexxx....you have no idea how much I respect that. I tell people all the time that *all* hosts are looking for loyal customers...as long as you are happy with your host you should *NOT* move to NatNet or anyone else. If you ever get disappointed by your host then we should chat.

Dre...well, we have invested about 6 months and over $500,000 just into the build out of the new office...but we think it is worth it due to some things that we have coming up in the next year in the mainstream world. We have to be able to compete with the Dog and Pony shows of the big, publicly held hosting companies. (tony says crossing his fingers ;)

JFK.... How'd you know? :winkwink:

12clicks....Oh no, my friend....Andrew is the one person in the office that we need the most for this move. He is our "get things done" guy. You know that :)

JMan...Pics will come when we get moved in and settled down...I am figuring that should be by late November!! HAHAHA :1orglaugh

The hard part was making sure that the tech staff had NO way to modify what was being displayed on them. The last thing I need is for them to be watching re-runs of "As the world turns" at 3 in the morning :1orglaugh

Hey, why didnt I think of that ?? :Graucho

Jace 05-16-2005 07:21 PM

you definately need to have a house warming party in the new place so we all can see it...i promise we won't break anything

SweetT 05-16-2005 08:06 PM

Maybe we can just have a small houe warming party for the local folks and then see if there is enough of a desire to have a full Atlanta event....but of course, most people here know how I am....go big or go home....so I doubt I could pull off a small, local gathering...but I could try :winkwink:
