I saw your counter...but that takes you to another page...this one stays on the page :-)
it uses php and mysql...you guys can run it for free...i just have to ad you to my database. For an example check www.bimbolinks.com and look at the source..the img its using is just fake to call the script...check it out

i dont think there is any accurate way of counting the bookmarkers. if you explain the logic of your script, i can tell you if its gonna work or not.
